| There is a cool way to play with a big sound that crosses genres but still keeps an underground vibe. Contemporary music is both prevalent enough and diverse enough to be able to pick the exact sound you want for your dj set. Our tool is called the Junkbox. Its a hodgepodge of analog mixers, compressors, eqs, efx and filters which interfaces with a computer program that allows for simultaneous mixing of unlimited tracks. We’ve traveled the world over the last six years collecting sounds from many great artist and producers. Our music collection is extremely diverse ranging from punk and electro through to hip hop and dub, with everything in between. The result is a seamless mix of amazing songs all in key and on beat, touched by a little of our own personal mojo. The analog sound of the Junkbox is what sets the mix apart from a normal computer based dj system. The Junkbox is a one of a kind, 100% original invention that we created to fill a void in the current live production/performance market place. It can be used on its own as a dj system, as an instrument in a band or as a platform to create intricate sound scapes for film and television. It is completely limitless in its capabilities. |
